Before Ordering


What is the minimum amount I can order?
Most fabrics and wide laces have a minimum of just one metre. Narrow laces and trimmings, and other small items may have greater minimums. There is no minimum order value.

Can I obtain samples?
Yes, for most fabrics and laces we can supply a small number of free samples on request. We can also supply larger samples or hangers for many items, to borrow or buy. A deposit may be required for hangers supplied on loan.

What are delivery charges for Smaller Orders?
For all UK destinations, including offshore islands, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands, delivery charges normally vary between £4.30 and £8.50, depending on how urgent your order is.
Other destinations are charged according to cost.

What are delivery charges for Larger Orders?
For most mainland UK destinations, except the Scottish Highlands and Islands, delivery charges normally vary between £6.30 and £11.50, depending on how urgent your order is.
Other destinations are charged according to cost.

What are delivery times?
Most items are in stock at any one time and if an urgent order is placed before 12 noon we can usually despatch the same day; but if your requirement is especially urgent, please contact us to check availability as early as possible. Non-urgent orders are usually despatched within 3 days.
Please bear in mind that it is possible for some items, especially laces and patterned fabrics, to be out of stock for many weeks when waiting to be remade.

How can I order?
You can order by telephone, email, fax, or post.
To order by email, first make your enquiry via our Contact Us forms. We can then supply samples and prices as required, and give you the email address to use. Once you know the amounts you would like to order we can give you a total price, including delivery charge. To order by post or fax, we can supply an order form.
When you enquire, please tell us how you would prefer to pay for your order- see below.

How can I pay for my order?
We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards, internet or telephone bank transfer, Bank Giro Credit (over your bank counter), telegraphic transfer, and cheque. Credit or debit card details can be sent by email as we will advise. Please note that orders paid by credit or debit card must normally be delivered to the cardholders address. If this is a problem, please contact our sales office to discuss the requirements for delivery to other addresses.

Do you have a shop?
We don't have a shop as such, but we do have a showroom at our factory.
Please note that you must make an appointment before visiting the showroom.
